Yoga inspires me to listen carefully and reflect meaningfully. For me it is a gift of self-care and love that expands beyond myself. I have been practicing a variety of styles of yoga for over 10 years and found that through consistent practice, I am stronger and more flexible both on and off the mat. Moreover, I am better able to put forward my most loving and fearless self for my community.
I completed my 200 hour Hatha training with Yoga Krewe and my 95 hour children’s yoga training with Next Generation Yoga. I know myself as a lifelong learner and I’m so grateful to my many teachers, from the children I work with, to my yogi guides, to the friends I practice alongside, and the countless others who I’m blessed to cross paths with in and outside the studio.
I love sharing the transformative power of yoga with others. In my classes I combine creative sequencing, a focus on alignment with a spirit of playfulness, and time to rest and restore. I encourage you to approach your practice yoga at your own pace and be mindful of your personal needs. I understand it as an honor to help guide you back into deep connection with yourself, physically, mentally, and spiritually. I hope that in practice together we may come to exist more fully in our true state of peacefulness and ease.
