Hey Loves,

This is a challenging time for each of us. That doesn’t mean that we don’t deserve to thrive!! Give yourself permission to indulge in the things that spark your joy.

Read A Book

Maybe that means reading a great book. One of my faves is Zen and the Art of Happiness by Chris Prentiss. It’s a great reminder to feed the positive and not the negative, and to appreciate the joy that’s around us.

Retail Therapy

Something that Marley likes to do is get new sunshades when we go to the store. Sometimes I let her indulge. Maybe we will get some designer pairs soon and be extra #fancy. .

Sweat it Out

Yoga is on the top of our list when it comes to “sweating it out”, but whatever gets your heart pumping and feels good is a win. When we exercise, our body is flooded with feel good chemicals that put us in a good mood. The next time you’re feeling in a bit of funk, put on some running shoes, and run it out or dance it out!

Come Back to Nature

Give Yourself Permission to go outside! Since many of us are still working from home, we can take our home office anyway. Take a break on your front porch, backyard or even a park bench. Studies have shown that spending a couple of hours in nature each week can significantly reduce feelings of depression and anxiety. Get some vitamin D and help build up your immune system.

Tea Talk

Tea is a part of our daily routine. Matcha or Chai is usually my tea of choice. There are so many others! Share a cup of tea with Have a relaxing cup of tea with a friend or loved one and share a bit of your day. Give yourself permission to release a little bit of something, no matter how big or small and make room for something new.
